Take Me There
Travel opens your horizons to a world of people and new cultures, amazing sights, culinary delights, and making discoveries where you’d least expect. Travel is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
The key to great travel is to travel light—packing only an open mind and a big heart!

My Travel Blog. This started as a project sorting through a stack of old photos with my daughter. I wanted to share stories about places I’ve been to and all the countries I’ve lived in and write about our family’s travel adventures. It’s a big part of who we are.
Travel Advisor. If you need travel inspiration or help creating a vacation itinerary, feel free to contact me. I’ll be pleased to book hotels, tours, safaris, cruises, and all-inclusive resort stays for you. Certified with Fora Travel I cover the USA and destinations worldwide, and can give my clients many insider perks and benefits from leading hotels and luxury hospitality brands.
Travel Desk. Find my pop-up travel service at The Island Attic in Avon, where you can ask me anything about travel and booking trips. I’d love to start a local travel club where people can connect and share their travel experiences, get destination tips, make vacation plans, and even find a travel buddy if they are looking for one!
Global Citizen. I’ve lived in the UK, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and home is now the United States. My wanderlust has taken me to over thirty countries through work and personal trips. As a travel enthusiast, I’m always looking at destinations I want to visit or planning our family’s next vacation away.
Lifelong Travel. Traveling with an open mind and engaging all your senses rewards you with heart-warming memories that will last you a lifetime. I’ve traveled solo through Southeast Asia, hosted luxury wellness retreats, planned family vacations to different countries, and went on safari in Africa to celebrate a milestone and make my bucket list dream come true!
Responsible Travel. We all have a responsibility to the destinations we visit by being mindful of how our travels can impact local communities. By planning ahead, being aware of our choices, and sharing our experiences with other travelers, we can strive to become better global citizens and responsible tourists.
Lifelong Learning. You never stop learning about the world when you travel. Building on my travel and hospitality experience, I’d like to go back to graduate school one day—there’s an MSc in Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality at ECU Wilmington I’d like to pursue.
