Take Me There
Travel opens your horizons to a world of people and new cultures, amazing sights, culinary delights, and making discoveries where you’d least expect. Travel is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
The key to great travel is to travel light—packing only an open mind and a big heart!

My Travel Journal. This started as a project sorting through a stack of old photos with my daughter. I wanted to share stories about places I’ve been to and all the countries I’ve lived in and write about our family’s travel adventures. It’s a big part of who we are.
Travel Advisor. I am a certified Fora Travel Advisor. offering travel planning and booking services. I arrange hotels, tours, safaris, cruises, and all-inclusive resort stays across the USA and destinations worldwide. Through Fora’s preferred partner network, I’m able to offer clients access to VIP perks and benefits at leading hotels and luxury hospitality brands.
A trip to South Africa was a turning point for me—it showed me just how invaluable a knowledgeable travel professional can be. Working with a close friend who runs Tribal Tourist Travel Agency ensured every detail of our family trip was thoughtfully planned and seamlessly executed.
Travel Desk. Building on my own travel experiences and organizational skills, I became a travel advisor and launched my travel desk to help others plan memorable, stress-free vacations. Find my pop-up travel service at The Island Attic in Avon, where you can ask me anything about travel and booking trips.
Lifelong Travel. Traveling with an open mind—and engaging all your senses—creates heart-warming memories that last a lifetime. Having lived in multiple countries and worked across global markets during my career in events and hospitality, I’ve visited more than 30 countries. Along the way, I’ve traveled solo through Southeast Asia, coordinated luxury wellness retreats and destination weddings, planned family adventures across continents, and celebrated a milestone with an unforgettable safari in Africa—finally checking off a long-held bucket-list dream.
Responsible Travel. We all play a part in caring for the destinations we visit. Being mindful of how our travels impact local communities helps ensure that the places we love remain special and welcoming. By planning thoughtfully, making conscious choices, and sharing what we learn along the way, we can all become more responsible—and more respectful—travelers.
Lifelong Learning. Traveling means you never stop learning about the world. Building on my experience in travel and hospitality, I hope to return to graduate school one day—there’s an MSc in Sustainable Tourism & Hospitality at ECU Wilmington that I’d love to pursue.
