Welcome to the first edition of my travel newsletter! I thought I’d begin by sharing the destinations I know best—the places I’ve visited, lived, and come to love. A trip to South Africa and the unforgettable experience of going on safari first inspired me to become a travel advisor. I’ve also been fortunate to spend more than a decade living in England, Dubai, and Bali, each shaping the way I travel and the experiences I love to share. Now, the United States is home. As we settle into fall, I’ve also included some seasonal U.S. travel inspiration, along with ideas for planning a winter-sun escape.

South Africa Travel Guide
For my milestone birthday last year, I ticked a big one off the bucket list—South Africa! From the thrill of seeing wildlife on safari to exploring Cape Town’s rich culture, iconic Table Mountain, the buzzing V&A Waterfront, and the breathtaking Winelands filled with world-class wine and cuisine —this trip was unforgettable!
5 Epic US Road Trips
Crisp air, long weekends, and open roads—fall is the perfect time to explore! These 5 U.S. road trips are filled with epic views, charming towns, and unforgettable stops—but the real secret is knowing exactly where to stay along the way.
Cozy Season Long Weekends
Perfect for weekend escapes and pulling out those favorite sweaters. Whether your ideal fall weekend means crackling fireplaces, wine country adventures, or hikes with breathtaking views, there’s something appealing about a quick getaway that doesn’t involve a passport—or jet lag.
London Travel Guide
London is fabulous in spring and autumn—easy to explore, full of history and culture, and buzzing with incredible energy. Just don’t forget your brolly! For me, it’s a regular hop across the pond to visit family, catch up with friends, and soak up all things British. I grew up in England, lived in London, and the vibrant city of Brighton & Hove on the South Coast—is my old hometown only an hour or so away from London by train.
The English Countryside
Beyond London, discover the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds, the dramatic landscapes of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, the charming South Coast and through to Cornwall and Devon in the Wast Country
Whether you’re channeling James Bond, Downton Abbey’s Grand Finale, or even Austin Powers and all things groovy, I can help you find the quintessential British experience. From a chic London stay in the heart of the city to a grand manor tucked away in the countryside, you’ll be immersed in rich culture, historic landmarks, and timeless traditions. With so many fabulous properties to choose from, you’ll be going from afternoon tea to martinis (shaken, not stirred) in no time.
Singapore & Bali Travel Guide
Thinking of heading long-haul to Asia? Start in Singapore with its futuristic skyscrapers, luxe shopping, and Singapore Slings. From there, hop on a short flight to exotic Bali, with its volcanoes, lush rice fields, ancient temples, vibrant spirituality, stunning beaches, and world-class surf.
I landed in Bali in 2009 on an adventure and blissfully called it home for 10 years. Being part Indonesian, I was visiting family and traveling across Southeast Asia when a detour to this magical island changed my life—I met my (now) American husband there. We’ve since returned to the US, it will always hold a special place in my heart. Ask me about my insider tips for Bali—or about my travels across the Indonesian archipelago!
Dubai Travel Guide
Dubai is a bold, glittering, and unforgettable city—home to world-class attractions, luxury hotels, chic beach clubs, desert dune safaris, and warm Arabian hospitality. With direct flights from all major U.S. cities, it’s the perfect stopover en route to Asia, an escape from the winter cold, or the ultimate place to ring in the New Year with glitz, glamour, and fireworks at the iconic Burj Khalifa—the tallest building in the world.
Part of my childhood was spent in Dubai in the early 80s—long before today’s dazzling skyline. Then later, I returned in the mid-90s and spent 10 years working in international exhibitions and events and exhibitions, which also took me across the Middle East on business travel.
Florida’s Gulf Coast
As the first chill of fall sets in, are you dreaming of warmer days? If an international trip isn’t on the cards, Florida’s Gulf Coast offers the perfect long-weekend escape or winter-sun getaway—close to home, yet a world away.
From the sugar-white beaches and sparkling waters of the Emerald Coast to fresh Gulf oysters, laid-back beach towns, and a slice of key lime pie, this stretch of coastline is filled with hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
